Growers will benefit from significantly enhanced coverage of production horticulture from December 2006 with the incorporation of Grower magazine into Horticulture Week. It follows the acquisition of Grower magazine by Haymarket Publishing, which owns Horticulture Week, from Nexus Media Communications. The purchase includes the Grower of the Year Awards, Garden Centre & Retail Awards, Horticultural Directory and the Fruit Focus exhibition. All the activities will now be based at Haymarket's headquarters in Hammersmith, West London.
What happens to the magazine? From the 7 December issue, Horticulture Week will be expanded with an eight-page dedicated Grower section with the latest news, analysis and opinion on the edibles sector. In addition, producers will benefit from enhanced and expanded coverage of technical, business and operational management issues across ornamental horticulture and edibles, including a new technical advice section, weather warnings and updates on the latest research.
What if I'm a subscriber to Grower? Your subscription will continue. You will be sent copies of Horticulture Week, with its new Grower section and enhanced coverage throughout the magazine, for the duration of your remaining subscription to Grower. In addition, you will receive:
- Free copies of Garden Retail when you register
- Free Plant Suppliers' Guide, Horticulture Week Buyers' Guide and Careers in Horticulture
If you already subscribe to both Horticulture Week and Grower, we will be extending your subscription to Horticulture Week by the full remaining term of your subscription to Grower magazine.
If you have any questions about your subscription, please call our customer service line on 020 8606 7500 and we will be happy to help you.
What if I'm an advertiser in Grower? We will continue to honour all existing Grower commitments. Your advertisements will be placed appropriately within Horticulture Week. Grower advertisers will gain additional benefit from Horticulture Week's unrivalled circulation and readership as the leading title for the horticulture industry.
